1) The Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) at Chisinau, Moldova. - Bachelor in Economics (8.56 out of 10) Mathematical Economics 9.2 out of 10 (course description includes: Functions of several variables, Ordinary differential equations, Elements of linear algebra, Mathematical programming.) 2) Currently studying at the Erasmus University. Pre-master Economics and Business Economics. Got an exemption from the Mathematics course (based on my course curriculum from the ASEM)

Experience

1) TOEFL - overall 102 (reading 25, listening 24 speaking 28 and writing 25) 2) I really love math and I am good at it. I stated as a tutor back in high school, about 4 years ago. At the beginning I did it because I enjoyed it, afterwards I discovered that I can make some pocket money out of it. Helping children as well as teenagers (1st-12 grade), I have developed my communication and explanation skills. Now I have no problems explaining apparently difficult math problems to anybody. Having a very strong background in math’s, I am able to make even a very difficult problems look easy. But the most important thing that I try to focus on is the explanation of a certain problem, by trying to compare it to a real life situation. I am able to teach in English, Russian and Romanian. I have finished high school with an average of 8.58 out of 10, having 8.8 for math. On the baccalaureate exam on math I had a 9. As for why I am a tutor, I can say that I really enjoy it. It may sound strange, but I really like explaining different thing to other people. It is one of my hobbies. When it comes to math’s, it is a win-win. I love math’s and I love teaching.

I am a very open person. I enjoy speaking to new people and discover different points of view. This is why I decided to come to study at Erasmus and live for a while in one of the most international cities in the world, Rotterdam. I like reading books. I have not read much, about 110 novels. But I try to be very careful when I pick a book. It has to be a book worth reading. Especially enjoy writers like: Dostoievski, Tolstoi, Hugo, London, Dickens, Dumas, Steinbeck, Melville. I have been playing basketball for some time. In my home country, I was a part of the national champion team. Also, I have represented my country in different international tournament (FIBA Small Countries Championships)
